Our 2015 medical mission to Fiji to provide eye care was a huge success. With the support of the Nadi Public Hospital with pre-screening, our team of volunteer eye surgeons completed an amazing 172 surgeries in 8 1/2 days.
Of those surgeries, 149 where cataract surgeries with IOL implants, 6 were corneal transplants, 4 were pterygium surgeries, and 13 were miscellaneous surgeries.
Here are some picture from the mission trip.

Our patient is blind in one eye and the other recently went blind due to cataracts.
Now he can see again and can go back to teaching middle school children.
